NASA confirmed today that the Space X Dragon successfully splashed down today @ 12:42 EST in the Pacific. The spacecraft was returning from the International Space Station with two POLAR freezers incorporating a CryoTel CT-F cryocooler in each.

Did you know there have been a total of 52 successful CryoTel CT-F cryocooler launches into space? One of our cryocoolers has been operating in orbit for over 13 years aboard the RHESSI satellite.
